Door County Wisconsin is lake country – and one of the most heavily visited areas for tourists in the state. Situated between Green Bay and Lake Michigan it's also home to several Land O’Lakes farmer-owner operations. One of which is Country View Farms owned by Ed & Deb Staats. Ed is the 5th generation in his family to farm the land. Not only are they dairy producers, but they have also found a way to create additional cash flow by simply using the maple trees on their land. They also take the time to educate tourists about where their food comes from and answer any questions about what it means to be a family farm.
