Where Goodness Grows is a six-part digital video series designed to connect everyday people with the farmers who are so critical to delivering the food they enjoy.

Episode Three: Rural Broadband and Buttery Bars

Every day, millions of Americans are impacted by a lack of access to high-speed internet, including people living and working in rural areas where our food is produced. That’s why Land O’Lakes formed the American Connection Project, an initiative that aims to bring reliable, high-speed internet connectivity to rural communities.

In this episode, we’ll chat with the Hemsarth family of Hemsarth Dairy in Belleville, Pennsylvania, to learn about how broadband connection — in the form of a battery-powered jet pack — has impacted their lives and their dairy farm. Then, get Amy Brown’s take on a classic: buttery pecan pie bars.
