The story of American agriculture has always been the story of real families. Family farms make up 99% of America’s 2.1 million farms and 89 percent of agriculture production.

Amy talks with the Mason family, Land O’Lakes farmer-owners in Chestertown, Md., who’ve been keeping their dairy farm humming since 1977.  
They discuss why a farm isn’t just a great place to raise cows—it’s a great place to raise a family, learn life lessons and enjoy time together. For the Masons, the farm is their legacy and their opportunity to be good stewards of the land.
