Thankful for our farmers

We asked our customers to share their thanks for those who put food on their tables, and they delivered

Thank You. Two little words that mean so much yet are not said nearly enough.
Earlier this year, we asked our dairy customers to share their thanks to farmers and the response was overwhelming. We received hundreds of messages through handwritten cards, social messages, and emails. We wanted to share a few of those messages with you -- our farmer-owners.
From our customers and Land O’Lakes -- thank you. We are thankful for you each and every day.

"Farming is hard work that may slow over the seasons but never really stops for anything. Getting sick, still have to milk, want to go do something fun, need to get some greenchop in.  And having Mother Nature as a partner is not for the faint at heart. It really seems sometimes like we have become disconnected from knowing where our food comes from and what it takes to get it from your farm to my table.  So, thank you for your hard work, your dedication and I hope farmers of all kinds are able to get through the hard times because we need you and always will. And I love seeing the 4-H groups at the fair. 4-H and the granges are the main reason I go so thank you for leading the next generation of brave farmers."

"From your farm to my kitchen, every day the results of all the work you do show up without question at my table. In 82 years, I don't think I have ever had a chance to say how grateful I am.  It takes a seed, some dirt, sunshine and water...or it takes a precious animal, sunshine and water, and lots of food.  You are the one who makes it possible for me and those I love to thrive and flourish in health.  You turn these resources into all the products my family enjoys.  Please know we thank you for choosing farming as your life's work."
